Something for all those interested in the green world.

Welcome

Entwood Bonsai is Maine's largest and oldest bonsai nursery. We began offering bonsai trees in 1995 as a result of a facinating hobby which was begun in 1986 and had grown out of hand. We offer an ever changing selection of bonsai as we search for new (ancient) and exotic varieties including tropical, flowering and fruit bearing species as well as traditional Japanese varieties.

Thank you all for your patience regarding our website updates. We have been busy tending our trees through this past winter and early spring. As always, the health, vigor and happiness of our bonsai and bonsai stock come first. We have a great selection of tropical and temperate stock plants and finished bonsai and have additional stock plants arriving weekly.

Again in 2011!!!!

Succulent Dish Gardens - folks have probably seen them at events we have attended for the past 18 months or so and they are finally making their way onto our website. These gardens are grown with a wide selection of mixed desert and arid climate succulents, landscaped with a mix of rocks, stones and gravels to achieve an attractive arid/desert landscape. Very easy to care for: 3 hours or more of light per day, let them go bone dry between thorough waterings and keep above 32F since they will freeze. Can tolerate dry periods of 3-4 weeks without water. Great low maintenence desert landscapes.

Winter Nursery Retail Hours
